In My Mailbox (12)

I'm too tired to write up my summaries again, because blogger totally screwed up my initial IMM and I had to start from scratch. Basically, I got a lot of amazing stuff and I'm so happy about all of it!

From Penguin:
As always, Penguin is fantastic! Thanks for sending me this.

Helen Keller in Love - Rosie Sultan

Won in Giveaways:
Thanks to A Good Addiction, Daniel Marks, A. S. King, and BookTrib!

Velveteen - Daniel Marks / Please Ignore Vera Dietz - A. S. King

The Good Father - Diane Chamberlain

From NetGalley:
Thanks to Tanglewood, Doubleday, Simon & Schuster, Lerner Publishing Group, Fox Chapel Publishing, First Second, and Dark Horse for these amazing titles.

Ashen Winter - Mike Mullin / Amped - Daniel H. Wilson / Imperfect Bliss - Susan Fales-Hill

Skylark - Meagan Spooner / The Curiosities - Maggie Stiefvater, Tessa Gratton, & Brenna Yovanoff / Spiked Desserts

Broxo - Zack Giallongo / Sailor Twain - Mark Siegel / Tune - Derek Kirk Kim

Channel Zero - Brian Wood / FLCL Omnibus - Hajime Ueda

Purchased:
I made a run to a local used bookstore and got a seriously impressive haul. Most exciting is that I found Sweetly, which is not coming out until June. Yeah, some librarian and/or blogger totally jumped the gun on disposing of their ARC. Anyway, it found a nice home, so no worries.

Sweetly - Jackson Pearce / Lolita - Vladimir Nabokov / Elsewhere - Gabrielle Zevin

Cat O'Nine Tails - Julia Golding / The Outlaws of Sherwood - Robin McKinley / The Dragon Factory - Jonathan Maberry

Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha - Roddy Doyle / The Canterbury Papers - Judith Koll Healey

Kissing Kate - Lauren Myracle / At Weddings and Wakes - Alice McDermott

  2. I love the variety here! Also? Your haul? WICKED AWESOME.

I cannot even begin to start with how much I LOVE Robin McKinley. She's fantastic. Then you combine that with Robin Hood and HOLLA it's a match made in heaven.

ALSO! NETGALLEY! I LOVE THAT SITE!

    1. Yeah, I don't think I've actually read any McKinley since middle school, but I'm amassing a collection, and will totally just devour it one of these days!

What would I do without NetGalley!? It makes it possible for those of us without thousands of followers to get ARCs. <3
