  5. I'm still sobbing over the fact that Penguin denied me for The Art of Wishing on NetGalley. The excerpt I read a few months back didn't impress me much, but if it has your stamp of approval, it must be good after all! I don't know much about the other books, so I can't say anything about them.

    1. Awwww, Penguin loves to turn people down. There are some definite drawbacks, but I thought it was worth it for the originality and conscious step away from some of the cliches. Margo is a much more empowered heroine, even in her bad decisions: she makes them for herself, not for the boy.

  6. hahaha Helllo that was so creepy. Weirdo! That kid on the cover is really creepy too, this vlog is just full of creepy! I wanted Orleans so bad, but of course I was denied because they reached their quota *stab* I really like the cover for 1000 times, too bad G didn't like it more. I'll have to look for Wendy's review. Get haul this week, hope you love em all!

  12. Oooo, I have The Art Of Wishing and Orleans to read too, at some point. I hope you love them, because then it's likely I will like them too. Also, it's likely you'll read them before me.
