Intrigued that the Megan McCafferty book is a Middle Grade... although I still need to read the Jessica Darling series so I suppose I should do that first. That's super awesome you were able to replace at least one of your lost books... bookish friends are the best friends. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a prequel, so it's Jessica in middle school. Should be interesting. I've managed to replace three of them so far, and I think I'm getting one more. Two of the ones I was most excited about are gone for good though, I think.

DeleteAlyssa is a pretty awesome lady and I know this because I got to meet her at BEA, so it doesn't surprise me about that extension of kindness. SO SWEET. And I'm so damn happy it was Crown of Midnight because my goodness lady THAT BOOK. It's so amazing and I'm so happy to have run into another ToG fan!! And I can't wait to start the It List series as well as the Jessica Darling series since I've got them both now :D *dances* I'm so freaking excited!

DeleteOh wow , that was SO nice of Alyssa to send you Crown of Midnight - bloggers are honestly some of the best people in the world and I know cause a really nice blogger once sent me out Poison by Bridget Zinn after I mentioned I really wanted to read it :D Also, that close up of Percy was to-die-for!! ReplyDeleteThey really, really are. This is why I do not get the author hatred. Even if I don't like your book, I pass it on to someone else, fully hoping that they will like it more than I did. If I were truly evil, wouldn't I destroy the book in some fashion? Anyway, yes. I love bloggers so much.
