However, I much prefer physical books. Although I've recently downloaded an app on my phone called "wattpad" and I'm gonna lie... it's nice not having the weight of a full book in my hand!Sadaf H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/05386080341463056695noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-555254327067745492.post-8529900517435514022011-06-29T15:48:11.130-04:002011-06-29T15:48:11.130-04:00I agree with almost everything you said.
This is ...I agree with almost everything you said.

This is my one area of agreement; Overdrive has been compatible with (almost) every other ereader because all of them can read/display/play well with the industry standard format.

Amazon has chosen NOT to allow its Kindle to display that format - effectively forcing its users to but (almost) all of the new releases they want to own from Amazon.

Overdrive still won't be carrying Amazon compatible ebooks when Kindle gets library lending near the end of the year. BECAUSE THEY CAN'T. Nobody can sell DRMed Kindle books except Amazon...

Overdrive will be providing Amazon with the Library's license and Amazon will be fulfilling the loan request.

It's not Overdrive's fault it doesn't play nice with Kindle, it's Amazon's.

Other than that, I agree with everything you say. I love ebooks. :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-555254327067745492.post-35846336130751436402011-05-04T15:02:10.497-04:002011-05-04T15:02:10.497-04:00I agree with all of these!
I tend to way overpack...I agree with all of these!

I tend to way overpack with books for vacation, too. The one time I decided to pack only what I thought I could get through (about five), I ended up reading them all and not having anything to read for a day or two. It was super sad. I love the convenience that the Kindle has for times like that!Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07866301471995231390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-555254327067745492.post-2025324591539288272011-05-04T15:00:54.684-04:002011-05-04T15:00:54.684-04:00This comment has been removed by the author.Heatherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07866301471995231390noreply@blogger.com
