I've had spider-free week, Christina, but only because it's still quite cold here. Plus our cat really doesn't eat anything that is not in his or our plates, so it's highly unlikely he'll come and eat a spider when we really want it to happen :))) Yay for Angelfall replacement and for a lovely copy of One. ReplyDeleteHa, the bugs are starting to come out. We've officially hit spring weather here in Atlanta. Percy's pretty good about eating bugs, but he has to find them on his own. If I try to point them out to him, he'll have none of it. His favorites are flies.

ReplyDeleteIt looks like you got some nice books this week. I expect Phoenix to be as awful as Black Rising. (Look at me becoming all crotchety.) I've decided that I really like the cover of One. I may even make a point to read it.
You can wait as long as you like with Shatter Me. It won't hurt my feelings. I just needed to get it out of my house and to someone else.

ReplyDeleteSorry, the appearance of your adorable cat made me spazz out. There are never any spiders in my house, but my littlest cat Dodo Bird (so nickname for a reason) is the worst hunter in the history of cats. She would rather play with live bugs and make ME kill them. And one of her hobbies? BRINGING ME LIVE LIZARDS THAT I HAVE TO DECAPITATE. She recently got tapeworms from one of the lizards she was playing with, so maybe she'll quit bringing them to me.
Anyway, books. I have a feeling you won't like Shatter Me much unless you find Warner of the no marbles fun. That's pretty much why I'm reading on: he entertains me. That and I love Foe Yay. It's kinda funny seeing the ARC without the cover because I had one of the later ARCs that DID have the cover. Mmm, Angelfall. So much fun, it was! But yeah, I'm whatever on the rest of the books because I'm not interested in them and/or they're sequels to books I'm not interested in.
Percy is the cutest. I love his furry face. And how, even though he didn't want me to do that to him, he really didn't fight at all. Haha. I've worn him down.

I love your cat. He's so big and cuddly and I like big and cuddly animals. And he like seriously does not give a fuck. Which is even better. Neither does my dog and I flip her over on my lap and hold her like a small child and she stays there. It's insane.
