For Review:
The Best of Fancy Nancy: 6 Stories by Jane O'Connor &
The Pinkalicious Picture Book Audio Collection by Victoria Kann
From Harper Audio, I received these puzzling audiobooks. This is where I draw the line, and I will not be listening to them.
Crash Into You (Pushing the Limits #3) - Katie McGarry
However, I am incredibly excited about this one from Harlequin Teen. HECK YES, KATIE MCGARRYYYYY! Isaiah wasn't my favorite in the last two books, but, hey, Beth wasn't but I loved Dare You To, so I am totally ready for this. All of the thanks, Harlequin!

The Geek's Guide to Dating - Eric Smith
Though I don't think I'm technically a geek, I thought this might be funny. I'll probably end up giving it to a friend of mine, but I'll certainly peruse it. Incidentally, this is the third book I've won from Library Thing, and the only one to actually arrive.
Camp Boyfriend (Camp Boyfriend #1) - J. K. Rock
Won from a Spencer Hill Press Twitter giveaway. Amy recommended this one to me, so I hope I like it!
The Fancy Nancy and Pinkalicious makes me laugh. Crash Into You? Jealoussssss! I think that I need to add that to Sadie Hawkins Sunday so that you'll review it soon ;-)
ReplyDeleteHa, I wouldn't complain!
DeleteI got the Fancy Nancy and the Pinkalicious audiobooks too, but I have a daughter to listen to them so it was actually a great surprise for her. Ohh Crash Into You!! I never did finish Dare You To because I just wasn't getting into the characters, but I am dying for Isaiah's story!! Yay for winning books!! I hope you like Camp Boyfriend. The MC did irritate me at times, but I had to remember that it was realistic for her age. Enjoy your new books hon!
ReplyDeleteOh, good to know about the MC. I won't get to it for a long time since it's past the pub date, though. :-p
DeleteCRASH INTO YOU! ugh! I am so jealous! Is it a physical copy?! Fun fact: McGarry's sisters husband married someone from my school ;) She wrote parts of that book hiding out in my town. I WANT IT EVEN MORE KNOWING THAT!
ReplyDeleteAlso, I'd recommend gifting the 2 audiobooks to a local library. I know that my local library is always looking for new books on cd's for children. Seems to be a growing trend.
It IS a physical copy. I'm trying to stop accepting e-copies unless that's the only way to read the book. OH REALLY?
DeleteI'm sending them to Laura Hunsaker. Apparently her 8-year-old has a book review blog!
I love Fancy Nancy. I read them to my niece (who is adorable!). And can't wait to hear your thoughts on Crash Into You. So very into that series!!!! LOOOOVE Katie McGarry!
ReplyDeleteFancy Nancy so does not interest me. I pretty much read picture books based on the art, and I hate what's happening on those. Mostly I like ones about animals.
Delete*wants Crash Into You*
ReplyDeleteI hope I'll get it on Netgalley. If the ARC makes it on Netgalley like the first two books.
Oh wow! I, just like everyone else am really excited for Crash Into You. I hope it's just as good, if not better than our expectations :)
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!

First two books... oh my! :))) a bit too young for you... How can you have picture book audio collection by the way? They made me giggle. Have a wonderful weekend, Christina! I hope you enjoy the rest of your reads!
ReplyDeleteThe cover for The Geek's Guide is so cute ;-) Enjoy your new books!
ReplyDeleteCat @ Addicted 2 Heroines
I am so jealous of Crash Into You!!! Not gonna lie, one of the main reasons I'm so excited about it is because the MC's name is Rachel. Awful reason, I know. I'm interested in hearing your thoughts on Camp Boyfriend. I want to read it at some point.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you have a great haul. Hope you enjoy them all. I'm not familiar with any of them, sorry.
ReplyDeleteI might have to scope out Geek's Guide...
ReplyDeleteGreat haul!
hahahaha Fancy Nancy?! Boy, did you ever get put on the wrong mailing list. So I still have Pushing the Limits collecting dust on my shelf. It's really not a me book but I'm really intrigued by all the incredibly high ratings... someday.
ReplyDeleteI am a big geek, and that geek guide to dating looks hilarious!
