Cover Reveal Thursday (6)

The Last Bastion of the Living - Rhiannon Frater
Thoughts: I can almost hear Giselle being disappointed in me as I type this, but I'm not a huge fan. I just don't find this particularly aesthetically pleasing. HOWEVER, I do think it's probably more what a zombie cover should be than what most of them are. The cover says dark and creepy, and I suspect that's what we'll be getting.

Tributary (River of Time #3.2) - Lisa T. Bergren
Thoughts: This fits well with the other covers, although it's definitely the most boring with the brown color scheme. Also, I am annoyed by the change size and placement of the people in the novella covers.

Demons (Seers Trilogy #2) - Heather Frost
Thoughts: I like the way these two match. I think this one looks a bit better-produced, but I liked the model better on the first one.

Used to Be - Eileen Cook
Thoughts: This is adorable! Tandem bikes are hilarious. Also, love the boots and the fact that the hero is apparently the kind of guy who will wear a vest. Win!

Cover Battle: Shadows - Ilsa J. Bick
US vs UK: This one's really almost unfair. The UK cover is pretty much perfect. Look at that. You have creepy zombie creatures at the bottom and a girl who looks very much like a badass at the top. Or you have a cover that looks like it belongs on a James Patterson novel. No, I'm not over it yet.

Protecting Truth (The Seraphina Parrish Trilogy #2) - Michelle Warren
Thoughts The two look pretty nice together. The Protecting Truth cover is kind of cheesy, BUT it's working. That is just adorable. Also...London!

 The Program - Suzanne Young
Thoughts: Dying to read this one, but the cover's kind of meh. I think I would like it a lot better if they were wearing scrubs of a different color. Yellow is not my favorite.

Going Vintage - Lindsay Leavitt
Thoughts: This is cute, although the hot pink and olive green combination is unpleasant. I do, however, definitely want to read this. I mean, how could I not?

I actually LOVE the yellow on THE PROGRAM. I want yellow to happen.

Yellow is not one of my favorite colors. I've been predisposed to dislike it for a while. My parents' house used to have WAY too many yellow walls. An exception to my dislike of yellow is the My Life Next Door cover, which I find GORGEOUS.

Just to clarify, I AM crazy eager to read The Program, and love the cover in theory. I just don't like that shade of yellow!
