On My New Arrivals Shelf (12)

This post is up late because I was on vacation, so...deal with it. I didn't get a ton this week, but everything I got was awesome, so holla! As usual, click on the title of a book for a link to its Goodreads page, since you obviously want to read this awesome sauce stuff!

Books Mentioned:
Girl in Translation - Jean Kwok
The Thing About Thugs - Tabish Khair
This Is Not a Test (x2) - Courtney Summers (my review)

Bloggers Mentioned:
Hafsah of Icey Books (forgot to mention, but host of SARC)

Digital Haul:
Between You & Me - Marisa Calin (from Bloomsbury via NetGalley)
Once - Anna Carey (audiobook from HarperAudio)

Awww thank you so much!! I love you so much too :) You are also one of my favorite blogger buds. I am so glad you got your book!

I really appreciate all the nice things you said about me. Teared me up. I don't think that's ever happened to me before. It means a lot to me. Now that I am moved in again, I can get back to my blogging.

Also, I liked This is Not a Test. It was really good. Not my FAVORITE zombie book ever, but it's in the top ten. Also got an arc of Once. I hope it's better than EVE. I only gave that 3 stars.

I like ALL KINDS of giveaways. :)

Yay! I'm so glad you liked it. I was really tired when I recorded this in the sort of slaphappy way, but I just let the video go.

*HUGS* You are so awesome, and I'm glad you'll be back full time! Woo!

I really loved This Is Not a Test. It grew on me over time. Of course, I really like the YA books that make me want to sob my eyes out.

Noted.

I'm digging the books I received too, and I am super stoked about Between You & Me. It sounds so original, and lgbt too!

I'm glad I'm back too. SO MUCH FAMILY. I need to recuperate and to catch up on my book challenge.

Winning is totally awesome! Like Kara!

My cat is...intense. That's a good word. He was super hyped up last night because he was alone all weekend, so he was flipping out that I was finally back to give him all of the attention.

I'm reading This Is Not a Test right now and loving every second of it! It is so dark and twisted and unusual - exactly my kind of thing. I'll be back to read your review after I finish the book - I can't wait to compare notes.
HAppy reading!

Ooooh, please do! I would love to discuss. My review's not perfect for it sadly. I did a top ten list recently on reviews I wish I could redo and that was number one. Oh well!

It's your face! Yay for being back from good ol' Pittsburgh, and I'm super amused that Percy is being such a spaz in this video. haha.

As for giveaways, I think I'm more partial to all of the giveaways ever, just because it'll give more people a chance to win :)

He was being so damn spazzy. I probably should have rerecorded it, but I was too lazy. He was all het up because I'd just gotten home. Lonely cat was lonely! Jordan does not suffice for attentions!

Hmmm, I will lean towards more giveaways, but I think I'll make some prize packs too, just to cut down on shipping costs a bit. This thing is going to be pretty massive!
