Waiting on Wednesday (37): Black Helicopters

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Breaking the Spine.

How creepy and unique does this sound off of the teeny tiny blurb currently available? Plus, I've heard good things about The Freak Observer.

Black Helicopters
Author: Blythe Woolston
Expected Publication Date: March 26, 2013
Publisher: Candlewick

Synopsis from Goodreads:
Author of Morris Award winner THE FREAK OBSERVER, Blythe Woolston's BLACK HELICOPTERS, about a girl raised to be a weapon who straps on a vest of explosives and sets out to kill and be killed until her plan goes wrong.

Well this seems controversial-I'll be very interested to see what the reviews say and I definitely want to check it out for myself.

Wow this sounds intense. I love that it's a girl who was trained to be an epic, bomb-wielding killing machine. I'll definitely be wanting this one. Oh and Candlewick, definitely a Netgalley possibility!

Hmm, I haven't heard of this one, but it sounds interesting. It seems like there are a ton of 'born-to-be-a-weapon' type books being released, and they all sound interesting, including this one. Definitely looking forward to it! Great pick!
