Ohhh, I'm looking forward to your BEA book hauls :D and looking forward to dying of jealousy.

I've been wanting to read more alien books lately, so Alienated sounds interesting to me. Hopefully it's decent and there's not too much romance.

I need to hurry up and read Code Name Verity! Tatum might kill me if I don't get to it soon. The same goes for Shadow and Bone and Judith. I NEED THOSE BOOKS.

Wow Cold Steel is FAT. One of my fantasy-loving friends has only praises for this and N. K. Jemisin lists this as one of her fantasy series so it should be good.
Charm & Strange sounds intriguing but I got burned on a couple of ya books recently so I kinda lost enthusiasm. :/
Awwww little dragon! cute! And I really need to read Grisha soon! :)
Poor Percy, he suffered while you had good time at BEA. :(
A lot of great books on your new arrivals shelf as usual. I hope they all turn out to be great!

You use a long I and not a short I for Blythe? YOU PRONOUNCE DIFFERENTLY FROM ME. GAH. Nah, not a big deal. (Maybe.)

I'm so glad you got another copy of Rose Under Fire (which I'm trying to fit into my reading schedule, but so many galleys ack dead). Many hugs for all the sadness the fucked up box caused. If/when I come visit during your birthday shenanigans with Kara, you might want to be prepared for a massive belated hug. I'm still working on getting my driver's license so I can met y'all.

Also, -goes to my Grisha-trilogy-hating corner- At least we can all agree Mal needs to GTFO no matter how much our thoughts on the series differ.

Ah, no video is complete without Percy and showing him off. Dodo Bird was only slightly less unhappy when I came back form my weeklong vacation and she's been very lovey-dovey since then.

That reminds me that I need to start loading them on YouTube. That will take forever.

Yes, I'm hoping so too. *crosses figners*

YOU MUST READ THOSE THINGS. I second those orders.

Perrccccyyyy! Aww, he's just too cute. I pre-ordered Siege and Storm and am eagerly waiting for it. Can't wait to start reading it after loving Shadow and Bone so much and hearing such good things about it.

Yeah, I was surprised. I guess because it's larger than mass market but still WOW. The first book wasn't amazing, but it was picking up at the end, so *crosses fingers*

Oh, that sucks. There are a lot of bad ones, but you have to read the good ones.

Now, those are good ones.

I know, I hate that he suffers when I travel, but what can I do?

Maybe we should ask how she says her name. Why wouldn't people say? Of course, Kara let me say her name wrong for months, so there's that.

So many galleys. Yes, this is a thing I have too. I didn't need most of those, but a couple of them were NEEDS. Yay! You get that license!

Haha, we can agree about Mal. It's not a big deal that you don't like it. That happens. I've probably hated something you loved too. *shrugs*

Well, I guess I've had a couple of incomplete videos!

Eeeee! I so can't wait to see what you think of Charm & Strange. I think you'll really like it. It's very poignant and ... shouldn't say anymore. It's definitely a pretty surprising one, at least for me. Definitely can't wait to see what you think!

He's my sweet baby. Love him so much, and I missed his little furry face.

Ahhhhh, Siege and Storm is even better. For sure.

I'm seeing Charm and Strange everywhere recently. I'll wait for your review before I add it to my list. I've been getting rather picky about adding books to my list recently. Oh and dude, you totally pronounced my name right. I hope you enjoy the books, all of them.

Just realised that book is perfect for a workout for book nerds LOL

I know. That's why I keep on reading. :D I think in the end I will stop reading ya books first and only read books recommended by friends. Let them suffer. *evil laugh*

I know I know... I'm going to read it soon. (hopefully)

I think he would be even more annoyed and suffering if you brought him along. Sacrifice a couple of bookmarks with tassels to fatten him up. ;)

OH MY GOD you sang the Circle of Life. You are the best. Also, Percy looks far less than amused, but you just know he secretly loves it. I'm excited to hear what you think about Charm and Strange! Also, this seems to be another sign from the universe that I should start reading some Patrick Ness.

Hahah, at least it's not a hardback!

Right, I'm trying to be better about resisting books by unknown authors until I get word they are good. BUT THE PRETTIES. GUH.

Except that if he doesn't pass the bookmarks there would be expensive surgery to get them out. No no no.

I hope I love it. YESSSS, I win. How did I got Kara's name wrong and yours right? Lol. Whatever, winning.

Will let you know if Charm & Strange is worth it.

The best or the weirdest? Whatever, I will take it. He does love it. Attention is his favorite. I'm convinced the only reason he feels loved is because I harass him constantly. I'm super excited to read my first Ness!

Gah! I'm so jelly of everyone getting Alienated this week >.< ...though of course, totally happy for you as well! The Grisha series is one I still can't figure out why I haven't even gotten my hands on it yet! I just know it's something I'd really get into!! I love how you worship the booksOnce I read book 1, I'll come back to read your thoughts on both books. Code Name Verity is another series I need to get into! Congrats on the fantastic haul - happy reading Christina!

PS- after listening/watching you read some blurbs there, I think you should read to people for a living. Not many people can do it well, but you do. Maybe consider doing a read-out-loud book feature ;)

PSS- Loved the Percy/Lion King homage at the end - he's lovely as usual ♥

Haha! You can go request it! Though I don't know if Disney ships to Canada or if Canadian Disney distributors are as nice, so actually ignore me. I know nothing.

MICHELINE, you love fantasy. READ IT.

I would LOVE to narrate audiobooks. Seriously. I would love it. I did read a couple of picture books aloud: The Little Stormdancer and BAAA.
