Author You've Read the Most Books From:

Meg Cabot with 38 books. Ummm, yeah, I was a bit obsessed with her fiction for all of high school and college. What can I say. Incidentally, the second one is Janet Evanovich with 37. Before blogging, I was a lot better at becoming obsessed and working through an author's whole backlog of books.

Best Sequel Ever:

Gah, well, I don't know if this is actually the best sequel ever (which I'm going to define as book two exclusively), but Everbound by Brodi Ashton was the first one to pop into my head. Book one was really good, but Everbound totally awed me in every way.

Currently Reading:

All Our Yesterdays by Cristin Terrill (and I'll finish soon, Lili, I swear), Two Boys Kissing by David Levithan, and Al Capone Shines My Shoes by Gennifer Choldenko on audio, and, yes, I usually am reading three books at any given time.

Drink of Choice While Reading:

Given my druthers, it would definitely be some sort of alcoholic beverage, but generally it's just juice.

E-reader or Physical Book?

Physical book all the way, though e-readers have their uses, like vacation or gym - though I'm bad about that. *coughs*

Fictional Character You Probably Would Have Actually Dated in High School:

Well, I didn't really date in high school, but I feel like Archer from Populazzi might have been nice enough to befriend me, and he's such a sweet awesome guy with interests that I totally share.

Glad You Gave This Book a Chance:

Let's see. I think the last one that really surprised me with how much I liked it was Dairy Queen. It was actually a second (or maybe third) chance, but I really liked it this time, because sometimes format makes all the difference, as does context. I loved going through the whole series. Now I even want more books about D.J.!

Hidden Gem Book:

Let's see, I've been reccing this one to a bunch of people lately, so I'll do it again: A Long, Long Sleep by Anna Sheehan. If you're a fan of Cinder, I think Sheehan's novel is really worth trying, because it's also a sci fi fairy tale retelling.

Important Moment in Your Reading Life:

Discovering young adult fiction again when I was in college. It was actually Twilight that really got me into it, because my best friend and reading buddy recommended the series to me, and then I just went crazy. That was also the year of discovering manga. It was amazing.

Kinds of Books You Won't Read:

Okay, well, I will read most kinds of books, but I avoid Christian fiction like a plague of locusts. (See what I did there? I'm pretty proud of myself.)

Longest Book You've Read:

The Count of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas, weighing at 1462 pages in my edition. Also, I loved it.

Major Book Hangover Because Of:

Hmm, I'm not generally a book hangover person, but any Harry Potter book the first time is probably a safe bet.

Number of Bookcases You Own:

8, but one is a small three shelf.

One Book You Have Read Multiple Times:

Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen is probably my most reread book. It's been several years now since I read it and I am itching for a reread.

Preferred Place to Read:
My couch. Though sometimes I cheat on the couch with my bed. :-p

Reading Regret:

That I didn't do much reading for fun during my first couple of years of college, because I hadn't figured out how to fit it in. Also, I regret that I'm not good at reading a single book from cover to cover in one sitting anymore. That used to be my thing. Sigh.

Series You Started and Need to Finish:

Every series in the world basically. Even with "All the Books Are Out" as a caveat, I'm the worst for this. How about the Unearthly series by Cynthia Hand. It's worse because I own the two books I've not read, and they're signed and everything.

Deadline by Mira Grant, Fruits Basket by Natsuki Takaya, Northanger Abbey by Jane Austen

Unapologetic Fangirl for:

So many authors. How about A.S. King? I love her and I feel like she does not have 1/10 of the buzz she deserves for her talent. Ask the Passengers is my favorite of hers so far, but I was also seriously impressed by both The Dust of 100 Dogs and Everybody Sees the Ants.

Very Excited for This Release More Than All the Others:

Just One Year by Gayle Forman. I want it so hard, and Penguin has declared me undeserving, which means that I won't get to read it for-freaking-ever, since I almost never have time for non-review books and just this is me crying about my book blogger problems.

Worst Bookish Habit:

Probably reading multiple books at one time. It has its perks, like helping get me through slow books, but I think it might also be why I feel disconnected from a lot of the books I read. Maybe I need to change it up, but...change is hard. Also, my system helps me balance different reading priorities.

Just yesterday I ordered a copy of The Night Itself by Zoë Marriott, because, for once, Book Depository actually had a book that's not available in the US yet. There's not even a US date for this one yet, and I wants it, so I made it happen.

ZZZ-Snatcher Book (Last Book That Kept You Up Way Late):

Okay, I'm not usually one to sacrifice my sleep, tbh. Like, if I just happen to read a really good book on a Saturday night, I might, but I really don't function without at least six hours of sleep, so I generally am just willing to wait. Even more so since I started blogging, because I have to write my reviews right when I finish or I probably never will, so I would have to be writing a review at like 4 AM and just no. All of that is to say that when Froi of the Exiles kept me up until 1:30 on a work night, it was a big deal. Also, I am wiped this week because of it.
