Book Reviews for Just About Every Kind of Book

In My Mailbox (8)

Random Buzzers is totally awesome. I've been a member for two weeks and I've already got two ARCs to show for it. I think this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship.

Unique Book of the Week: I requested my first ever cookbook. Take a moment to be proud of me for acting like a grownup and gaining an interest in cooking. The cookbook I requested: Boozy Brunch. Moment's over. Haha, oh well. Sounds delicious!

Also, as always, thanks to all of the publishers who made my NetGalley haul possible: Harlequin, NLA Digital Liaison Platform LLC, Cedar Fort, Random House, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and Rowman and Littlefield. I appreciate all of you!

From Random House (via Random Buzzers):

Starters - Lissa Price / Peaceweaver - Rebecca Barnhouse

From NetGalley:

The Girl in the Clockwork Collar - Kady Cross / The Shapeshifter's Secret - Heather Ostler. / Tomorrow Land - Mari Mancusi

The Wicked and the Just - J. Anderson Coats / Don't You Wish - Roxanne St. Claire / Unspoken - Sarah Rees Brennan

The Girl in the Park - Mariah Fredericks / Zero - Tom Leveen

Boozy Brunch - Peter Joseph

Purchased:

Magic Study - Maria V. Snyder / Fire Study - Maria V. Snyder / Touch of Power - Maria V. Snyder

Wow, what a GREAT week!

I'm so jealous of Starters - I've heard wonderful things about it.

And oh oh! The Girl in the Clockwork Collar! I don't like the cover much, but I loved The Girl in the Steel Corset, so I can't wait to get my hands on this one :)

Also, yay for Maria V. Snyder. I haven't read Touch of Power yet, but I really like all her others.

It was a great week. No doubt! I love it.

Totally agree on The Girl in the Clockwork Collar's cover. The first book has one of my favorite covers, but this one is cheesy..or something. It's just off somehow. They could have made the collar look cool and steampunky instead of whatever that is.
