Do let me know what you think of my attempt at vlogging. Do you want to see my face more in the future or should I call this a failed experiment?

You did a great job with your vlog. This is a great lineup. If you are anything like me you will have a hard time figuring out what to read next.

Awww, thanks. Actually, I have a big list that decides what I'll be reading for me. I read my review books by publication order or when the review is due. Otherwise, RAMPANT CHAOS! Haha.

Nice list!! Make sure you link this up somewhere on Saturday or Sunday so you can get some visitors over here! I'm jealous!

I did get Darkest Minds and Crewel so I'm not complaining too much, but I am drooling over Level 2, Black City, Venom, Origin, and Falling Kingdoms. I am buying them all. My husband won't understand why I need more books when I have so many I haven't read, but I don't care. I will FIGHT for those books. ;)

Nice haul. Oh, and you are a great vlogger! Keep it up!

I guess I'll need to save some links to both posts, so I can copy paste them in as I comment on other people's hauls. Good idea.

You fight for those books, girl! Your husband surely knew what he was getting when he married you, so this shouldn't be a big surprise. :-p

THANKS!

I loved looking at all of your great books! I don't usually watch vlogs because of my super-slow interwebz connection, but I tethered just to be nosy. I would give up an eyebrow for a couple of those books. You scored bigtime. :-)

My interwebs are super slow too, so I totally get it. I don't watch them often myself either for that same reason.

I so did score big time. It's the complete opposite of my romantic life, lol.

I love the vlog! So nice to see your pretty face.

Super excited to read your reviews of these books. I'm already logging dystopian-Austen and historical fiction titles. And August sounds like it's going to be a great month.

Am I right in thinking that Stealing Parker has a baseball themed cover? Because, if so, unintentional punnage! You're going to "knock it out!" Ahahaha. OK.

Blogger Christina said...

Thanks, dear! I miss your face too!

YAY! Dystopian Austen! Good choices.

Stealing Parker is baseball-themed. The other book, Catching Jordan is football. I'm guessing the pun was intended, haha. Although I hate sports, I still have high hopes for them. I think they're about women playing, which is cool.

Christina, I would love to see your face for more often!

Books I'm drooling over: Entice, Scorch (I started Croak recently; it's currently my purse book), Alice in Zombieland, Throne of Glass, and Black City!

I had no idea that the author of Apothecary was related to someone in the Decemberists! The book wasn't my favorite, but it was kind of adorable.

Also, not the biggest Stiefvater fan, but I keep wanting to read her books any way...Looking forward to a giveaway!

It's your face! Ahh! You did an excellent job on the vlog, my friend.

I want to read all of those books...all of them! I read the SoulScreamers novella last year, and I really liked it, so hopefully the series is just as great :)

Yay! I'm so excited about them (in case you couldn't tell)!

:) I wish your face were around more too! I miss it!

CROAK! Do you love it? I hope so. I guess you must be loving it if you are drooling over the sequel.

Why do I keep wanting her books? haha.

Vlogging was actually kind of fun. Heathersaurus, we should totally film a book discussion or something. It would be amusing solely to us and our friends, but WHO CARES!

Haha, don't you love my giant haul, also known as your giant haul?

OMG, we totally should! Taking over the world, one vlog at a time (and yeah, our friends would be totally amused!) haha

I love everything about it! haha

YAYYYYYYYY!!!! You should have heard one of my early failed videos where I sounded like a creepy stalker because I talked about you for like two minutes!

The review will be up August 1. I'm waiting until late July to read it which is KILLING me. Dystopias, I want to read them all RN.

I can't watch the vlog because I am at work and procrastinating. Sigh.

BUT!

You definitely scored some great looking books, I mean YAYYY LEVEL 2 and The Darkest Minds. I can't wait to read those books.

Haha, I forgive you. I rarely watch videos myself for that precise reason, so I do not begrudge you that. This is why I put a list down there. Because otherwise, how will people know?

In the video, I totally geek out over Level 2. *dances*

Hey Christina,

You have incredibly great speaking skills. I loved watching your vlog!
Every year I try to see if its possible for me to go to BEA since it's not too far away from where I live (I'm a Bostonian) but school always gets in the way. I'm glad you were able to go! Looks like you got a lot of really amazing reads. I'm especially envious of your copy of What's Left of Me. The author is one of my favorite bloggers. I can't wait to read your thoughts on these books. New follower! :D

Ezzy,

That is so incredibly sweet of you to say! I do my best, but my words always try to run away from me when I'm staring at that image of myself in the webcam. Haha.

What's Left of Me was definitely one of the ones I was most excited to snag. And I was so thrilled to get a special message signed to me!

Thank you for following!
