I love A Long, Long Sleep! When We Wake & Earth Girl are pretty good, too. Don't like Earth Girl's US cover, though - UK one is much more accurate, in my opinion.

I also got Maybe Tonight. It looks really good. I've read the first couple pages, but ultimately put it down because it doesn't come out til August. But I love the idea of a choose your own adventure YA.

I can't wait to read When We Wake. It's been on my TBR for MONTHS now.

I'm so glad that Earth Girl made it to you! And I'm happy that you got your blogger love in a crappy time. You're one of the hardest working and deserving bloggers that I know! :-)

Woah, I didn't know A Long, Long Sleep had a paperback edition with such a lovely cover! Now I want to buy one for myself, just so I can make my friends read it.

Choose Your Own Adveture is so nineties! I remember those were the only kind of Goosebumps I read. And I would "Cheat" and go back to choose other options because I wanted a happy ending.
I am interested in seeing how Maybe, Tonight uses the format though. But how would you review it? read through all the options?

Never heard of Earth Girl. *sulk*

I am torn on When We Wake. I'm getting to the point where I'm finding it hard to read YA dystopic fiction, but I love Aussie fiction. Maybe your review will help me decide!

These are fabulous books, Christina! I bought Earth Girl last November but still had no time to read it, and A Long, Long Sleep is on my wishlist. I really need to get it soon, especially because you are endorsing it comparing it to Meyer whom I loved.

I also think that you should let Percy review the book about cats. He might be able to judge it better than us humans :)))

Have a lovely week!

Choose your own adventure? Cool! I used to love those. I would totally think that authors name was Birdie. OMG Birdie Calvert I freaking loved Hope Floats. Wow way to veer off topic!

Happy you are liking When We Wake so far! G is reading it right now and she is too, I think it was a bit too science-y for me.

I went to a Charles De Lint signing! He was the only guy on a panel of like 8 chicks and he held his own damn well. Respect.

Awe I like the cover for Earth Girl, she's cuddling the Earth. The Earth needs cuddles.

I like that girl's skirt on Maybe, Tonight. I also like your polka dot shirt.
When We Wake looks good. I am glad it's good so far.
That cat book looks interesting -- mainly because there are pictures.
Earth Girl...interesting cover.
I like surprises on rough days/weekends. Yay for your giftcard!
Glad you finally own Meant To Be.
I still need to read A Long, Long Sleep. Ah.
Come See About Me looks good.

Yup. I had to own it so I can reread someday, and so that I can force it on people. Not that it should be a hard sell, but still.

Oh, I cheated like a mad woman on those, because I died every single time. Like, if death was possible from a choice, I inevitably died, and then I'd go "oh, I didn't mean that one...hahah!"

Not sure how I'll review it. I read one that sort of did the Choose your own adventure thing, but there were only two choices, so I read both. Probably won't for this. Who knows?

Earth Girl's really good so far. You are welcome for the introduction!

I really liked it! The voice really worked for me. From a dystopian standpoint, it's not the strongest, but I loved it anyway.

You should fit Earth Girl in. I'm loving it, and I think you would too. Tons of world building and lively characters!

Yes, yes, yes. Get A Long, Long Sleep!

Yeah, I loved them too. I hated Hope Floats. Lol. Of course.

It didn't strike me as all that science-y, so if it was for you, omg, could I recommend some books you would HATE.

Sweet! Charles De Lint must be awesome. Love it.

Ha, I don't like the cover actually. :-p

I'm glad you are liking When We Wake. I really want to read that one. The cover is not appealing to me at all, but the blurb is!

Yay, Lisa. That was a really sweet thing to do. I bet that was a nice surprise!

Love the paperback cover of a Long, Long Sleep. People keep telling me I need to read that. I better do it, huh?

You book club with Lauren Morrill? How did I not know this?

A Long, Long Sleep sounds really good! I haven't heard of it before. But its going on my TBR! I really love the cover on that one. Also, I heard about Earth Girl but I wasn't to sure about that one. I haven't had the chance to read any reviews on it. I'll have to check some out and yours when you put it up. Looking forward to reading that review!

You should read A Long, Long Sleep! Everyone should! Well, maybe not everyone, but certainly anyone who likes YA fiction in general, and Cinder specifically.

Earth Girl's great as well, at least for those who enjoy pretty serious sci fi.
